Many people struggle when it comes to picking out home fitness exercise equipment for working out at home. There are many infomercials with new hot equipment that claim they will help you get a six-pack or lose fat fast. Many of these home fitness exercise equipment commercials make promises that are impossible for them to keep.

Over the years you have probably seen many fitness machines and gadgets on the market. Many people are getting scammed into thinking they can duplicate the results of the model in the advertisement. I have even purchased some of these products myself. The real truth that they don't tell you is the people in the infomercial didn't get the results by just using this product. Some of them may have never used it.

The best options for home workout equipment that won't make you feel like you got scammed are items that are spacious, inexpensive and will last for many years.

Here are 3 pieces of home fitness exercise equipment that I have used for successful fat loss:

Dumbbells:

Dumbbells can be somewhat expensive if you buy the multi weight ones. I have heard some horror stories about them falling apart and on people's feet. I have several spin lock dumbbells with extra weights so I can adjust them to the weight I need. I find that having a couple sets also helps with super sets if you are using different weights for each exercise. This also works well if you are doing a warm-up set first.

Exercise Ball:

An exercise ball is an inexpensive piece of equipment that most people don't use. There aren't many guys that do not use an exercise ball because they feel it to girly for them. It is a great tool for working out your core. It can also increase the difficult of bodyweight core exercises. I never realized how many exercises can be done with an exercise ball. You can even do leg curls with it.

Pull-up Bar:

There are many pull-up bars found in TV commercials these days. I know I said that most of these workout products in commercials are useless but this one is a useful product. I have one and it's great for doing upper back workouts. The only downside to the pull-up bars you see in the commercials is that most are not very sturdy or ruin your door frame. They may say they don't but if you are heavy enough and putting all your bodyweight on them then they will. The best option is to get one that bolts to the wall if you have an area in your house that you can do this, such as a basement.

These are just some of the great pieces of home fitness exercise equipment available.
